Detailed Features:
Ortho-Consciously Designed Mouthpiece
The new mouthpiece, developed on the basis of ergonomic engineering, further enhances the comfort of
bite, fit, and stability. Even with a light bite, a high level of stability is achieved, so there is
no fatigue from long periods of usage.
Purge Button
Lighter and smaller, the SS-20 combines a large discharge valve with a deflection tube and deflector to reduce exhaust
resistance. The L.P. hose is yellow like the main unit to improve visibility. The ideal regulator allows you to breath naturally
while under water as it supplies the needed amount of air at the correct time regardless of the water depth or tank pressure.
The SS-20 is based on this theme, with TUSA aiming for the ideal breathing resistance. This is where the regulator breathes easily
but does not supply more than the required amount of air. TUSA installed the only regulator breathing resistance performance
tester (ANSTI MACHINE) in Japan, which is used for the product development and to thoroughly check product performance before shipment.
TUSA conducts ANSTI tests before shipment to ensure users receive products with the ideal breathing resistance. The breathing resistance
deemed ideal by TUSA is represented as a flattened oval in the graph. In other words, the inhale and exhale resistance is balanced and
at a low pressure like it is during regular breathing on land. This means this regulator lets you breath as little or as much as you
want and with a low resistance. TUSA continuously conducts R&D to approach this ideal value.
